And now – The Book!

Mobilise/Demobilise bookWe are delighted to announce the publication of a beautiful 80-page book of texts, photos and information as the last outcome of the four years of the Mobilise/Demobilise project.

Designed by Alexandra Gschiel and edited by Eva Ursprung and Helen Varley Jamieson, the book includes reflections from all the project participants and descriptions of performances, worklabs and other activities. The three performances from the festival in 2021 are all documented with texts and images, as well as the worklabs Worlds Connected and Taking Space. There is information about the UpStage platform and the participating partners, lessons learned and feedback from audiences.

Full colour photos and screengrabs on every page illustrate the range of activities and participants across the project – it’s a wonderful document to complete what has been a huge amount of research, creativity and engagement. The book will soon be available to purchase online.

A grant from Das Land Steiermark enabled the publication of the book. The Mobilise/Demobilise project was funded by Creative Europe, with additional funding from Bundeskanzleramt Österreich (Austria), Kulturrådet (Sweden) and Landeshauptstadt Muenchen (Germany).
