Eva Ursprung has been honoured with the Würdigungspreis des Landes Steiermark, recognising her acihevements in the field of visual arts. The award is for her contributions in the region over her career, and the last four years of Mobilise/Demobilise have been a significant part of that work.
Eva is pictured being presented with the trophy by Dr. Christopher Drexler, councillor for culture and vice governor of Styria. The trophy is called “Mela”, after Mela Hartwig Spira, a jewish actress, painter and writer who lived in Graz before Nazi period.
